Refund Policy

1. Overview
SMSBulk operates a fully automated refund system designed to remove friction for users. When you order a virtual phone number, the activation has a 20-minute window. If no SMS arrives within that window, the activation is marked expired and your wallet balance is restored to the exact amount that was deducted.
Refunds happen at the database transaction level with strict idempotency guarantees. Even in the event of network failures or duplicate webhook deliveries, your wallet balance cannot be lost or double-charged. No support ticket and no waiting period for the standard cases below.
2. Automatic Refunds
The following cases trigger an automatic full refund:
- SMS not received: the activation expires after the 20-minute window without SMS delivery.
- User cancellation: you cancel an activation through the dashboard or API before any SMS arrives.
- Number revoked upstream: the telecom provider releases the virtual phone number before SMS arrives.
- System error: a failure on our infrastructure prevents SMS delivery for the activation.
- Service does not support the country: the destination service refuses verification from the country combination at the provider side.
In every automatic case, the refund is credited back to your SMSBulk wallet immediately and recorded as type "REFUND" in your transaction history with a reference to the original activation.
3. Cases Where Refunds Do Not Apply
The following cases are not eligible for refund:
- SMS received successfully: once the verification code arrives, the activation is complete and the charge is final, regardless of whether you used the code.
- Wrong service or country selected: choosing a service or country combination that does not match your intended platform is the user's responsibility.
- Verification rejected by destination service: if the platform you verify (such as a messaging or social service) rejects, blocks, or bans the account, that is outside our control.
- User-side network or VPN issues: verification problems caused by your network, browser, VPN, proxy, or device configuration are not refundable.
- Code typed incorrectly: if you mis-type the received SMS code into the destination service, the activation is still considered complete.
4. Disputed Activations
If you believe an activation was charged in error - for example, the SMS arrived but the dashboard did not display it due to a system glitch - contact us on Telegram at @smsbulksupport within 7 days of the activation. Provide the activation id, approximate time, and a description of what happened.
Each disputed case is reviewed manually with full audit-log access. We typically resolve clear cases within 1 business day and complex cases within 7 business days. Outcome decisions on disputed activations are at our reasonable discretion based on the evidence.
5. Wallet Top-up Refunds
Cryptocurrency top-ups credit your SMSBulk wallet in USD. Once a top-up is confirmed on the blockchain and credited to your wallet, the underlying cryptocurrency cannot be returned to your originating wallet automatically.
If you wish to withdraw an unused wallet balance, contact @smsbulksupport. Withdrawals are subject to identity verification and anti-fraud review and are processed via cryptocurrency transfer through Cryptomus, in the same token used for the original top-up where possible. Network fees are deducted from the withdrawal amount. Processing typically takes 1 to 7 business days.
6. Account Closure Refunds
If you close your account voluntarily and no Terms violation is involved, any remaining wallet balance is eligible for refund through the wallet withdrawal process described above.
If your account is closed due to a Terms of Service violation - including any item listed in section 4 of the Terms of Service - the remaining balance may be forfeited at our reasonable discretion.
7. How Refunds Are Issued
All automatic refunds are credited back to your SMSBulk wallet balance in USD. The credit is immediate and visible in your transaction history with the type "REFUND" and a reference to the original activation. The refunded balance can be used for any future SMS verification across any supported service or country.
Manual refunds (disputed activations and account-closure withdrawals) are handled per the procedures above and follow the same audit-log discipline.
8. Currency and Fees
All refunds are denominated in USD, the wallet currency. We do not convert refunded amounts back into specific cryptocurrencies automatically. For cryptocurrency withdrawals, the conversion to the chosen token is performed by Cryptomus at the prevailing exchange rate, with applicable network fees deducted from the withdrawal.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy when our practices, providers, or applicable law change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the website and to registered users via email or in-app notice.
